This course is a hands-on session designed for entry-to-mid-level creatives to move away from reactive or sporadic career efforts towards a clear pathway to progression. It reframes “what’s next?” conversations into intentional direction. Rather than relying on loose plans, participants will conduct a rigorous professional audit to identify their strengths and development areas. This will include a critical review of how they apply for work, how they position themselves, and the consistency of their outreach.
Through guided exercises and discussion, attendees will translate these findings into a personalised roadmap created during the session. This includes a breakdown of actions and deadlines, enabling them to move forward with clarity and confidence rather than guesswork.
This course is a workshop that requires active participation*. No pre-work is required, but a few days before, we will send through “Thinking points” from the trainer to consider before the session.
Outcome:
Participants will leave with a plan that is ready for immediate implementation. Designed as a dynamic professional tool, this career map can be continually refined and adapted, providing a reliable structure to maintain focus, track progress, and ensure long-term self-accountability, especially for freelancers.
