We’re looking for someone to:
- Assist the 2nd AC with day-to-day camera department tasks, including preparing, carrying and moving equipment, cases and carts on and off set.
- Support B camera and splinter-unit setups, helping move kit efficiently between positions.
- Help maintain a tidy, safe and well-organised camera truck and working area.
- Run consumables, batteries, media and small equipment to and from set as directed.
- Support the charging, labelling and management of batteries and camera accessories.
- Assist with basic marking of actors and general set support during rehearsals and takes.
- Communicate clearly with the camera team and wider crew, following on-set etiquette and health & safety protocols.
- Take direction from the 1st and 2nd ACs and be willing to learn all aspects of camera department work.
Essential:
- Previous HETV set experience (trainee or placement)
- A genuine interest in camera and a desire to build a career in the camera department.
- Reliable, punctual and able to keep pace with a busy set.
- Good communication skills and a collaborative, can-do attitude.
- Physically able to help lift and move equipment as part of a team (team lifting and workarounds supported).
- Basic awareness of on-set etiquette and health & safety, or a willingness to learn.

Start Date: Nov 2026
Location: Office base is in Barking, most work will take place on filming locations in Greater London Locations.
Contract: 5 Day Working Week / Standard Working Hours – 10
