We’re looking for someone to:
- Dress and prepare sets in accordance with the production’s creative vision and instructions from the Props Master and Dressing Chargehand.
- Maintain, clean and repair props and set dressing to ensure they remain presentable and production-ready.
- Assist with the preparation, striking and resetting of sets between scenes and shooting days.
- Ensure props are correctly placed and maintained throughout filming, with attention to continuity.
- Have a good working knowledge of hand tools, power tools and manual handling equipment.
- Follow all production, workshop and location health and safety procedures at all times.
- Work effectively as part of the Dressing Props team, responding to changes and supporting the wider Props Department as required.
Essential:
- Ability to use a range of hand tools and basic power tools safely.
- Good manual handling skills and the ability to safely move and position props and set dressing.
- Ability to work flexibly with changing working hours, including early starts, late finishes and some weekends.
- Willingness and ability to travel to different filming locations as required.
- Good communication skills and the ability to work effectively as part of a busy Props Department.
Desired (but not essential):
- Experience working on film or high-end television productions.
- Experience working on location and within studio environments.
- Full UK driving licence.
- Experience working with a wide range of props, set dressing and practical items.
- Good practical knowledge of dressing and maintaining props and set dressing.
Role Details:
Start Date: 5th October 2026 – May 2027
Location: On Set / London Locations.
Contract: 11 + 1hr lunch
