We’re looking for someone to:

  • Assist with dressing and preparing sets in accordance with the production’s creative vision and instructions from the Props Master, Dressing Chargehand and experienced Props Dressers.
  • Assist with the cleaning, maintenance and basic repair of props and set dressing, developing practical skills under supervision.
  • Support the preparation, striking and resetting of sets between scenes and shooting days.
  • Assist with placing and maintaining props and dressing elements throughout filming, with an awareness of continuity.
  • Develop a working knowledge of hand tools, power tools and manual handling equipment, using equipment safely and under appropriate supervision.
  • Follow all production, workshop and location health and safety procedures at all times.
  • Work effectively as part of the Dressing Props team, responding to instructions, supporting the wider Props Department and developing practical knowledge and experience.

Essential:

  • A genuine interest in working within the Props Department and developing a career in film and television.
  • Good practical attitude and willingness to learn new skills.
  • Good attention to detail and the ability to follow instructions carefully.
  • Ability to work as part of a team and communicate effectively with colleagues.
  • Ability to work flexibly with changing working hours, including early starts, late finishes and some weekends.
  • Willingness and ability to travel to different filming locations as required.
  • Good awareness of health and safety and a responsible approach to working safely.
  • Ability to carry out practical tasks, including moving and handling props and set dressing, safely and under appropriate supervision.

Desired (but not essential):

  • Previous experience working in a Props, Art Department, Set Decoration or similar practical role.
  • Some experience using basic hand tools or workshop equipment.
  • Previous experience working on film, television, theatre or live events.
  • Full UK driving licence.
  • An understanding of set dressing, props or continuity.

Role Details:

Start Date: 12th October 2026 – May 2027

Location: On Set / London Locations.

Contract: 11 + 1hr lunch
